I’m not a native English speaker and I rarely ever need to speak English. But when I have to, I notice it hurts my throat within like 30 minutes of constantly speaking in English. Doesn’t happen when I speak my mother tongue. I guess English requires low-tone voice when you speak it, and it exhausts the throat. Even when I watch Kardashians on TV, I feel exhausted hearing them talk, because they talk so low.
